Regular cleanings can help you achieve optimal teeth whitening results. Just be sure to wait 48 hours after a dental cleaning in case there are any cuts or scrapes on your gums.

Everyone has varying amounts of tooth sensitivity, but pain during the session is not normal. Please let us know if you feel uncomfortable at any point of the treatment. Usually, sensitivity will dissipate within 30 minutes. If you’re still experiencing sensitivity after 30 minutes, use a sensitivity relief toothpaste.

All teeth have fine lines which are not typically noticeable given the film or pellicle layer on the teeth. Depending on the specific genetic traits of the teeth, these can be more noticeable after whitening.

On average, your smile should brighten two to four shades in one session. Some people's teeth will brighten more shades and others may only achieve one shade brighter—this all depends on how your teeth respond to the gel.

Lifestyle, genetics and age all affect how long your results will last. If you avoid staining foods and drinks and use at-home maintenance products or come in for follow-up appointments, your smile will stay brighter for longer!
